My Bio
We live in a world that is designed to challenge us; it is through these challenges that we learn and grow. Walking the path of life can be overwhelming at times; support and guidance can help you push through the heaviest parts, when needed.

I see my role as a therapist as someone who helps you traverse the obstacles in your path and navigate toward a place of passion, purpose, or peace. Rather than tell you where you must go, I explore where you have been, how you ended up where you are, and where you would like to go from there. We then work collaboratively together to find the best way forward, toward the life you seek to live.

My approach to therapy is integrative and humanistic, which means that I utilize interventions and frameworks from a variety of therapeutic models and emphasize the importance of allowing you to be an active participant in your therapeutic process. My goal is to help you learn how to feel more connected to the core of your being, and to live your life in a way that supports the authentic embodiment of who you are.

Throughout life we may encounter a variety of difficult experiences – whether they be from attachment wounds, traumatic experiences, self-esteem and identity issues, cultural and societal impacts, difficult life transitions, or understanding our relationship with ourselves and our body. Each of these experiences require unique approaches to navigate, and no two people walk the same path. I strive to honor you exactly where you are and as you are, respect everywhere you have been, and support where you would like to go – all while helping you to become a more genuine and whole you.

I received my Master’s education from Touro University, with a dual focus on Marriage and Family Therapy and Professional Clinical Counseling. My BA is in Fine Art from the University of California, Santa Cruz. I enjoy opportunities to combine these disciplines together in my therapeutic practice.
I work with a variety of clients, from children to adults, as well as individuals, families, and couples. I often incorporate creative expression, somatic practices, mindfulness exercises, and existential philosophies into my work with clients.

I invite you to contact me with questions and to see if we are a good fit for working together. I am currently accepting sliding-scale / private pay clients.
