Cancellation & Refund Policy

Refunds

All payments are final and non-refundable. If an unexpected emergency prevents you from participating, you may email us at trainings@theredwoodcenter.org to request an exception. Exceptions are not guaranteed and are granted solely at the discretion of The Redwood Center. This policy supports the sustainability of our programs and helps ensure consistent, high-quality training.

If a program is canceled by The Redwood Center, participants will receive a full refund.

Missed Sessions & Participant Cancellations

If you are unable to attend a live session, you will receive access to a recording. No partial or prorated refunds are provided for missed sessions or participant cancellations. As noted above, discretionary exceptions may be considered in documented emergency situations.

Program Commitment

Registration represents a commitment to the full program. We understand that unexpected circumstances may arise, but reliable participation is essential for planning, staffing, and maintaining program quality. Please register only if you are able to commit to the schedule and financial terms.

By registering, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this policy.

Complaints & Disputes Resolution Policy

We aim to provide a meaningful, high-quality learning experience. If you have a concern or complaint regarding any aspect of a Redwood Center training, we encourage you to contact us so we can address the issue promptly and respectfully.

How to Submit a Complaint

You may submit a complaint by emailing trainings@theredwoodcenter.org within 14 days of the concern arising. Including the following information helps us respond effectively:

  • A clear description of the issue

  • Relevant details (such as session dates, specific materials, or communication involved)

  • The type of resolution or response you are seeking

Process and Timeline
  • You will receive an acknowledgment within 5 business days confirming that your message has been received.

  • Your concern will be reviewed by Jen, who may contact you to request additional information.

  • Within 1–2 weeks, Jen will either offer a time for a video meeting (as availability allows) or provide a detailed written response outlining next steps or potential resolutions.

If You Are Not Satisfied

If you believe your concern has not been adequately addressed, you may request a follow-up review. These requests are considered on a case-by-case basis. Any adjustments—such as refunds, transfers, or rescheduling—must align with existing program policies.

Important Notes

  • We may not be able to resolve concerns based solely on personal preference, disagreement with course content, or factors outside our control.

  • We reserve the right not to respond to complaints that are hostile, aggressive, or otherwise inappropriate.

By participating in Redwood Center programming, you agree to this process for raising and resolving concerns.
